I just read their website and it says that their business is permanently closed. Which is upsetting :(. They were an outstanding restaurant, and I just loved them. It was a permanent fixture for us. I hope they go on to succeed in whatever they do next. thanks for all the excellent food, Mary and her family

Yum Yum another day another rainy rainy day...rainy rainy 2024 day means you are pushing 40 years old in San Francisco. Tried the udon with chicken and a salmon cone roll. Fun food and the younger man helping out seemed eager to have a guest. Gave me edamame. Not sure who would sit with me. Next time.

Used to be more of a seafood counter take- away affair, I believe, and still does plenty of that, but in the past decade this little spot changed up into a place that's just as welcoming for a quick meal. With regards to ambiance, Yum Yum is still small small, so don't expect to be able to roll in here with a dozen peeps... more like five or six in your party, max. You'll get to have a solid AZN style meal of sushi, sashimi, whatever is fresh -- just view the specials board or ask the chef. The seafood is solid, large menu has plenty for vegetarians and others who do not partake in raw fish, and service is excellent. Great portions at lunch, and prices are very fair. Also, these days Yum Yum will accept credit cards, which even now can be unusual in this part of the Sunset, the unofficial third Chinatown of San Francisco. Cash is indeed still King in my stomping grounds. Yum squared is yum, and I am putting in an extra star for great service, value, accommodating the whole family so warmly, and being especially kind to my mother.

I've lived in the Sunset for 20+ years and passed by this place. Small cozy place with great ambience and great service. The sushi is fresh and flavorful. I would recommend the lunch special - comes with miso soup, chicken teriyaki, rice, seaweed salad, 2 pieces of nigiri and, some sort of sushi roll for a great price.

The food is okay, my friend said her Udon noodles soup was bland. I thought my rolls were small for the price. The service is friendly and fast. The location has cute decor, I been here before.
